I have some lenses from PinkyParadise, and I will review them here. All of these lenses are very comfortable, give great enlargement, and are easy to care for. Also, this is not a sponsored review!

First, I will review the Geo Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown (Bambi series) lenses. These circle lenses are super comfy. The brown color is rich and vibrant, and the enlargement is amazing. I use these lenses for both street fashion and for cosplay. You have probably seen me wear these lenses for some lolita coordinates. Here, you can see these lenses in my Magnet Meiko (Vocaloid) costest!

Overall: ☆☆☆☆☆

Style: ☆☆☆☆ Cute design! I love the black limbal ring with the scalloped inner edge. However, it sometimes looks odd unclose, especially if I am staring to the far right or left.

Enlargement: ☆☆☆☆☆ Great enlargement for the perfect dolly look! Since the color is brown, it can still pass as natural from a distance. But your eyes definitely look much bigger!

Color: ☆☆☆☆☆ Love this rich brown! There are multiple tones of brown in the design as well, which adds depth to the eyes. These lenses definitely remind me of chocolate.

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆ Very comfortable! I can wear it for 8 hours without any irritation.

Next, I am going to review the pink circle lenses that I currently use. I use these for my Hazuki Nagisa (Free!) cosplay, but I also use them for fashion coordinates. These are called the Vassen Sakura Candy Pink Brown lenses!

In some lighting, it looks pink, but sometimes, it looks more like a beige-brown. These lenses are super pretty and give wonderful enlargement, but they do not consistently appear pink. As you can see in the selfie below, these lenses make my eyes look huge!

Overall: ☆☆☆☆☆

Style: ☆☆☆☆ The style is simple but super cute. I think it gives me that anime look~! The limbal ring is dark brown, but it looks reddish in some lighting (which I love!).

Enlargement: ☆☆☆☆☆ Wonderful enlargement! These are way bigger than my natural eyes. The brown limbal ring also helps my eyes stand out.

Color: ☆☆☆☆ The color looks pink sometimes, but more like a muted brown at other times. I think it depends on the lighting.

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆☆ These are one of my most comfortable lenses! I have worn them for an entire day at a con (~12 hours), and they did not irritate my eyes. I sometimes forgot I was even wearing circle lenses.

I have not decided what I will dress up as for Halloween this year… But I do have some ideas. I might want to try a creepy-cute demon look, or I might cosplay (because I really love cosplaying…). Maybe I will try to cosplay as one of my OCs! I have many creepy OCs from short stories and novels that I wrote back in middle school and high school. Unfortunately, since I began college, I have not had time to do much creative writing. I have written some poems and snippets of stories, but no novels. I definitely want to try something creepy this year if I have the time and materials!

Angel Contacts

Angel Contacts sent me an adorable package to review! The package included three pairs of false eyelashes and one contact lens case. The package itself was a standard mailer, and there were no rips or tears in the packaging. The items were safely nestled inside its package. The three pairs of false eyelashes included were different styles. The deco contact lens case is too cute!! Red is my favorite color, and I also have a sweet tooth, so I absolutely love the red dessert-shaped case. There are even little berry and mint leaf details! Now, let’s talk about the lashes! Angel Contacts sent me Dolly Tiara, Angel Luxe, and Sweet Glam lashes. All three pairs were in the same packaging, and can be stored in their respective trays and re-used. The lashes themselves are surprisingly light for such thick and lengthy lashes! They are easy to apply since the lash bands are so flexible, and they do not irritate my eyes. When I blink, they don’t shift at all. Once glued, they feel very secure. They are also not painful to remove if you use eye makeup remover!

The style of all the lashes are absolutely gorgeous! I love how each style is flattering to my eyes. Read on for specific reviews for each pair of false lashes…

Dolly Tiara is perfect for a dolly look; you will truly look like a beautiful doll with these lashes! I love how they make my eyes look so big. You can wear them alone, or pair them with underlashes. I used underlashes in these photos because I wanted to go all-out with the dramatic makeup for the pastel photos. The underlashes are not from Angel Contacts, and when I compare the underlashes to the Dolly Tiara lashes, the Dolly Tiara lashes are definitely higher quality! The underlashes are stiffer and harder to apply than the lashes from Angel Contacts.

In addition, as you can see in many of my photos, the underlashes shift and look odd in some pictures. The Dolly Tiara lashes, on the other hand, look fantastic! These lashes are fantastic for over-the-top sweet lolita or for gyaru. The Dolly Tiara lashes, with their exaggerated points, would also be great for cosplay!

Sweet Glam has a very thick false lash design that makes it great for adding volume to your lashes. They are very thick without looking chunky since each segment of lashes taper to a point. All of these points make the lashes look full and thick, whether your eyes are open or closed. These are dramatic lashes that will really open up your eyes!

You can use Sweet Glam for a special occasion, for cosplay, or for fashion; they are versatile lashes. These lashes were the perfect width for my eyelids as well! If you want to decrease the width of the lash band, it would be easy to cut the ends and trim the lashes to fit your eyes.

Volume: ☆☆☆☆☆ These lashes have the best volume, out of all the lashes I have ever tried. I love how thick these lashes are!

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆☆ All of these lashes are so comfortable! I can’t decide which one is the comfiest.

Angel Luxe is lush and pretty, but less over-the-top than Dolly Tiara (because it does not have the exaggerated points in its design) and Sweet Glam (because it doesn’t have the extreme thickness). Angel Luxe is great for enhancing your natural beauty!

Angel Luxe would be great for accentuating your eyes in a pretty and subtle way for cosplay, or for fashion if you want to have longer and thicker eyelashes without looking unnatural.

Length: ☆☆☆☆ Great length! From a distance, you won’t look like you are wearing falsies. You’ll look like you have naturally long and beautiful lashes!

UNIQSO: I.Fairy Hanabi Circle Lenses in Violet

I know this WordPress blog focuses on J-Fashion, but I would also like to use this blog for in-depth reviews! If you are interested in circle lenses, please read on!~

UNIQSO sponsored a pair of circle lenses to be used for cosplay, and even though I received these lenses for cosplay, I will definitely wear these circle lenses for non-cosplay purposes too! I can wear them for lolita fashion, or even casually if I do not feel like wearing glasses. If you just want to see the final review for the circle lenses, scroll down to the bottom of this post!

The Rundown:

Here is the original package that I received in the mail:

The package did not take too long to arrive at my doorstep, and I had no problems with customs. The shipping method that UNIQSO used was reliable! They even marked the package as a gift, which is great.

Inside the package, the contact lens case and the box with the circle lens tubes were safely inside! I was pleased that the circle lens tubes were wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure extra protection.

I soaked my new circle lenses in contact solution overnight, and then the next day, I wore them for the first time to costest Nishikino Maki, a character from the idol anime Love Live! School Idol Project. The name of these lenses are I.Fairy Hanabi Circle Lenses, and the color is Violet.

The Look:

I took so many selfies when I costested Maki! I cut and styled the wig the day before the costest; I am happy with how the wig turned out, but I may need to re-trim the bottom lengths. Enough about my wig though; let’s talk about these amazing circle lenses! I love the I.Fairy Hanabi design. It’s subtle, but very pretty! The little swirls are cute up-close. The ring of violet color is thin, but vibrant. The thin ring also makes my pupils look very large, which I think gives my eyes a very cute dolly effect. There is also a black limbal ring which gives great definition!

I put in these contacts before testing my cosplay or doing any makeup, and when I first put them into my eyes, there was no stinging or discomfort. They were not difficult to apply at all! I usually have some trouble with circle lenses, especially when they have large diameters, but these slipped onto my eyes without any problem. I did not need to use any eyedrops before or after! I wore the circle lenses for the whole day, and my eyes did not feel dry or irritated. The circle lenses did not slip around in my eyes either. I would highly recommend the I.Fairy Hanabi circle lenses!

In certain types of lighting or angles, the difference between my real pupils and my real irises can be seen since the colored irises of the circle lenses are a thin ring that reveal some of my natural irises. As seen above, you can see my small black pupil and my brown irises. I think it looks a bit odd, but it could also give a very cool and pretty effect to your eyes!

In other types of lighting or angles, my brown eyes and pupils blend together to look the same. This makes it look like the entire area inside the circle lenses’ irises are the pupils! I love this dolly eye effect.

Final Review:

Overall: ☆☆☆☆☆

Communication: ☆☆☆☆☆ Throughout the sponsorship process, UNIQSO was great with communication! Their representative was very polite and kind, and also responded to my questions in a timely manner. They explained the terms and conditions clearly, and also provided a tracking code for my package.

Packaging: ☆☆☆☆☆ As stated in the first section of this post, the packaging was amazing! I definitely trust UNIQSO to ensure that their products are undamaged. I have purchased from UNIQSO before, and never had any problems with their packaging or shipping.

Style: ☆☆☆☆ Very cute design, but I think it looks better from a distance rather than up-close in certain lighting. This is very minor though; the style is still amazing.

Color: ☆☆☆☆☆ Very vibrant violet!

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆☆ One of the most comfortable lenses I’ve ever worn.
