PinkyParadise sent me these cute prescription circle lenses: Princess Pinky Radiance Honey Brown. Here is the information about these lenses from their website:

Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal

If you buy something from PinkyParadise, use the coupon code “xiaorawr” to get free mystery gifts and cute lens cases! PinkyParadise shipped out these lenses with no problem at all. They marked the package as “Gift,” so there were no problems with customs.

packagingThe vials were wrapped in secured foam, so they were completely safe and undamaged.

DSC_0009_Fotor_CollageThey had my prescription in stock, which is wonderful! Some lenses don’t have the same increments in prescriptions, but my prescription is a bit odd. My left eye is -3.75 but my right eye is -3.50 right now. If you check out Princess Pinky Radiance Honey Brown‘s available prescriptions, you’ll see that they have a huge range!

PinkyParadise always gives out cute contact lens cases with lens purchases. For these lenses, I got a cute purple fish lens case! I love how adorable these look. I soaked the lenses in my multipurpose lens solution overnight before wearing them for the first time. If anyone is curious, the lens solution I use is the Walgreens Multi-Purpose Contact Lens Solution. It’s affordable and works really well; I’ve been using it ever since I wore my first contact lenses.

Now, for my circle lens ratings!

Overall: ☆☆☆☆☆

Style: ☆☆☆☆ This design is really pretty! The space for your pupils is also large, so your pupils will look bigger.

Enlargement: ☆☆☆☆ Great enlargement! They definitely enlarge your eyes, but they don’t make your eyes look as huge as some other circle lenses. There is no black limbal ring. I think these lenses would look lovely with casual makeup looks (without any false lashes or dramatic eyeliner) because they are fairly realistic.

Color: ☆☆☆☆☆ Love the rich brown on the outside and yellow on the inside. It’s very cute! The brown looks orange in some lightings.

Comfort: ☆☆☆☆☆ These are very comfortable! I can wear them all day without using eyedrops; they do not dry my eyes out. Of course, you should only wear the lenses for the recommended amount of time. I usually try to wear my lenses for less than 6 hours.

(☆ = Most negative/Not good at all, ☆☆ = Not that good, but okay ☆☆☆ = Neutral/No opinion/No answer, ☆☆☆☆ = Great, ☆☆☆☆☆ = Most positive/Fantastic!)

I think I will use these lenses next time I cosplay Hinata from Haikyuu!! … >w<

Little Post about a Great Meet-up (and my favorite JSK!)

On Sunday, April 14, I attended a meet-up in Boston that was co-hosted by two amazing Lolitas, Scarlet and Ashley. 🙂 It was a fun and casual Newbury Street Stroll, and all the attendees were dressed up in pretty frills! We had a great mix of coordinates. We ate a late lunch at a sushi restaurant, walked along Newbury Street, drank delicious hot chocolate (and ate some yummy chocolate too), did some shopping, and took photos!

I attempted to dress up in Hime-Lolita style. ^-^ This is the coordinate that I wore to the meet-up:

Image

It features an Innocent World dress (the only brand item that I’ve purchased directly from the brand website) – the Bertille Rose JSK in the Bordeaux colorway. I adore this dress and I think it looks very princess-like! I purchased this dress during the Winter Sale. (And Scarlet purchased her IW JSK during the Winter Sale too! I gave her the JSK when I saw her at the beginning of the meet, and she changed into it. It suits her so well!)

I paired this JSK with an offbrand blouse (something I found in a local thrift store), offbrand socks, white tea parties, vintage jewelry, and a hime crown. This JSK is my favorite dress I own at the moment. ❤ I love the feel of the fabric, I love the comfortable back shirring, and I love the rose and ribbon print! The lace is absolutely gorgeous too… And I love the Bordeaux colorway.

Here are some group photos from the meet-up:

And a silly pic:

Another group photo (those machines in the background were epic <3):

As we walked down the street, we saw a sign that said “Lolita” and… we just had to snap another group photograph!

Ashley also snapped a cute candid shot! I had no idea she took this photo until I looked through her Facebook album today and spotted this candid picture:

It was pretty chilly that day too… so most of the time, I had a coat on. I wore my (only) Lolita-styled coat though! 😀

All of the above photographs were taken by Ashley (HarmonyCloud).

Prior to this meet-up, when I finally decided to try on my new IW JSK, I asked one of my friends to snap some photos of me. It was not an official photoshoot, but it was a fun little mini-shoot (and we got some good photos)!

Here is a light-hearted photo of me hugging the grandfather clock in my dorm house living room:

Image

I love grandfather clocks so much. ❤ I actually love clocks in general. Actually, I’m sitting at he table right next to this clock as I am typing these very words. If I’m doing homework in my house or taking a study break in my house, I love sitting in the living room next to this clock.

Here’s a photograph that shows off the Bertille Rose JSK very nicely:Image

Just look at those frills. >w<

That is all for now!

I will try to blog more consistently this summer. Right now I’m in the last stretch of classes (two more weeks of classes, then finals week…), so I am really busy at the moment. But once summer comes, I’ll definitely try my best to be more active in the Lolita Blog Carnival as well as making more posts about Lolita Fashion and my coordinates.

(Also, sorry about this very photo-heavy post!)
