YesStyle Haul: 2021 Spring Haul

I know it’s summer now, but better late than never, right?! Here’s my blog post featuring my Spring Haul from YesStyle.

Melon Juice – Cropped Lace Bralette – ★★★★★ – This cute bralette comes in white or black, and you can read my full product review in my Instagram post here.
reduire Refreshing Time Cleansing Water 100ml – ★★★★★ – This is a great cleansing water and it’s very gentle on your skin. I didn’t experience any negative reactions.

Cute Essentials – Cat Magnet – ★★★★★ – This magnet is sooo cute and also super useful!! I’d highly recommend getting one (or a bunch) if you want to have a useful hook on your fridge to use for a hand towel, or if you have a metal door as your front door so you can stick it up there and hang up your hat or tote bag. I wish I got more than one.
Momoi – Printed Mask Carrying Pouch – ★★★★★ – This pouch is super useful and perfectly sized for carrying your face mask. I get paranoid about being mask-less, so I always carry extras in my purse. I put my extras in this pouch, and it keeps them clean and easy to locate! After the pandemic ends, I think this pouch will still be useful for carrying other items.
Bling Thing – Lucky Cat Bracelet – ★★★★★ – This bracelet is really cute and high-quality. The little bell is real too! It’s too cute. I love wearing this bracelet, and it’s very easy to put on since you don’t have to deal with any clasps.
Reiro – Fluffy Scrunchie – ★★★★★ – What a cute and super soft scrunchie! I haven’t worn this yet, but this would actually be perfect for winter looks. Especially if you have a pink coat or sweater.

Pouffle – Snake Hair Clip – ★★★★★ – This hair clip is very stylish. I’m glad I picked the goldtone one because the lovely green eyes on the snake really stand out. This hair clip also comes in a silver colorway, but in the stock photos, the silver one doesn’t look like it has gemstone eyes.

NENE – Long-Sleeve V-Neck Mini Bodycon Dress – ★★★★★ – This dress is so soft and stretchy, and really comfortable to wear. I didn’t wear it outside yet, and only tried it on. Even though I got this during my spring haul, this item is more appropriate for fall and winter since it’s a sweater material. I love the ruched detailing on the skirt of this dress! If you’re not into pink, this dress also comes in a black colorway. I’m quite tempted to get the one in black too…
Hyoty – Fleece-Lined Leggings – ★★★★★ – I have a lot of fleece-lined leggings, but this was my first time finding a skin-color one. I think the nude color would look good if you don’t want to look like you’re wearing leggings, but you want to keep your legs warm. It doesn’t look totally realistic and doesn’t match my skintone, but I’m still giving it 5 stars since the product itself is high-quality, super comfy and stretchy, and will keep your legs warmer than regular leggings.

Whoosh – Padded Cropped Camisole Top – ★★☆☆☆ – This camisole is super cute, but the reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because it came defective. See the photo below; the strap is sewn incorrectly and is twisted. I thought about returning it, but I didn’t want to pay for return shipping, so I decided to keep it. I will probably wear it anyways, but it’s disappointing that it’s defective.

Nine Tails – Lettuce-Edge Off-Shoulder Rib-Knit Top – ★★★★★ – When I first saw this, I was worried it wouldn’t fit me since it looked so small. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly! The fabric is super stretchy and comfortable. It’s also a shirt that truly stays off-the-shoulder, so I was happy about that! With most off-the-shoulder shirts, I have an issue where they always creep up and look scoop neck.
GANGER – Short-Sleeve Frog-Button Knit Top – ★★★★☆ – This qipao-inspired top is super cute! It’s a jersey t-shirt material and has a fully functional frog-button on top. The frog-button took me a long time to do, so I wish that was easier to clasp and unclasp. It’s super flattering when worn.
Ginger Girl – Halter Neck Rib Knit Tank Top – ★★★★★ – This halter tank top is in a sweater rib knit material, and is super stretchy and comfortable. The halter neck is not adjustable, but it fit perfectly for me. I really love how this halter looks and am tempted to get other colors, but trying to have self-control since I already have a similar-looking ivory-colored one, which you can see in my Summer Haul.
Meigo – Lace Panel Long-Sleeve Top – ★★★★★ – This lace top has beautiful floral details! I was worried it would be scratchy, but it’s smooth and comfortable to wear. It looks so pretty under a dress! It comes in other colors like brown, white, beige, gray, and light brown. I’m quite tempted to get another colorway!

chuu – Super Skinny -5kg Denim Shorts vol.30 – ★★★★★ – These cuffed shorts come with a mid-rise cut and twill construction, and they’re so stretchy and comfortable! The pink color is just like the photos online, and it even comes with an authentication card so you know it’s authentic and not a knock-off. I got a Size Medium, and it fits perfectly! Definitely read through the size charts to find your fit. These shorts come in many different colors too.

[YesStyle] Winter Haul Part 2: Fashion

I did not have a Fall/Autumn haul, so here’s my winter haul! I put the beauty products from this haul in Part 1 of my Winter Haul review. Here’s the YesStyle haul at a glance:

Loville – Thigh High Socks – ★★★★★ – Love these socks! They’re high-quality and comfortable. Exactly as pictured online. Great price! I was definitely impressed by the quality considering how cheap they are.
Reiro – Printed Chiffon Bow Hair Clip – ★★★★★ – This floral chiffon bow is so cute! I had trouble choosing which bow to get since all the designs and colors are adorable, but I decided to try the light blue with white daisies since I don’t have any light blue hair accessories yet. Highly recommend this bow hair clip!
SURELIN – Heart Layered Faux Leather Garter – ★★★★★ – This garter is soooo cute! Love the heart detail. I bought the black garter from YesStyle before too, as part of my Summer Haul. The pink garter is equally perfect and cute! I haven’t had the opportunity to wear it yet, but I’d like to coordinate this with some of my pastel looks, and maybe create a pastel-punk look.
Pouffle – Heart Choker – ★★★★★ – This choker is so cute, and even though it’s from a different brand, it matches the pink garter I got perfectly. If you want a matching set, definitely buy both of these in pink! I bought the white heart choker from YesStyle before too, as part of my Summer Haul. I wore this heart choker with my kawaii look for Christmas.
YUGGI – Faux Pearl Pendant Layered Choker – ★★★★★ – Super impressed with this choker! It’s two layers, and sometimes they get tangled in storage, but that happens a lot with my necklaces. It’s pretty easy to detangle. I have sensitive skin, but wearing this necklace never irritated my skin. I’ve worn it many times already. It’s a very elegant piece of jewelry and also easy to match with outfits. I’m wearing this necklace in the first photo on this blog post.

chuu – “Strawberry Milk” Print Ringer T-Shirt – ★★★★★ – This t-shirt is soooo cute! I love the text and the red trimmed neckline. The tee is soft and comfortable. I haven’t worn it out yet, and only tried it on. But I can’t wait to wear this with a red skirt in the spring and summer! It would also be cute to wear this casually with jeans. I just noticed that this t-shirt is out of stock, but I found some other options you can check out if you like this t-shirt style.
- KARLY – Short-Sleeve Embroidered T-Shirt – several different food and drink themed designs
- Jeony – Printed Pajama Set: Short-Sleeve Top and Shorts – really cute strawberry milk themed PJ set
- Genrovia – Short-Sleeve Strawberry Embroidered Cropped T-Shirt – a raglan-style cropped and cap-sleeved tee
- Manki – Strawberry Print Short-Sleeve T-Shirt – simple but cute tee that comes in various colors
- Kazarina – Strawberry Embroidered Short-Sleeve T-Shirt – pink tee with red trimmed neckline and red strawberry embroidery
Moon City – V-Neck Short-sleeve Drawstring Top – ★★★★★ – I was not expecting much when I got this top since it was so cheap, but the quality is outstanding. I’ve worn this a few times now and it holds up well after washing too. Super comfy and cute shirt! The drawstring is functional too; you can make this cropped or keep it long. Highly recommend this shirt!
BERAN STUDIO – Short-Sleeve Frill Trim Ribbed T-Shirt – ★★★★★ – Another impressive purchase! It was on sale crazy cheap, so I suspected it may not be very good quality. However, it was super soft fabric, nice quality, and stretchy material. Really flattering top, and the neckline is perfect. It’s not too low on me. However, if you have a bigger bust, I’m not sure if this will fit you comfortably. I’d recommend this for people with smaller busts.
Alfie – Rainbow Striped Mock-Neck Rib-Knit Short-Sleeve T-Shirt – ★★★★★ – When I first opened up the package and saw this shirt, I was really worried it wouldn’t fit me since it looked extra small. However, the fabric is very stretchy, so it fit me just fine. I would not recommend this shirt if you’re bigger than a US Size Medium, and for Size Medium, only if you’re okay with the shirt being tight. I’m usually a US Size Small, and this was slim-fit on me.

EROPIA – Set: Floral Print Off-Shoulder Crop Top + Mini Skirt – ★★★☆☆ – So the listing was misleading for this one. I thought it was a top and skirt set, but the skirt is actually a sarong. It wraps around and ties. I think this would be more suited as a swimsuit coverup. If you wear the miniskirt like so, you’d risk flashing everyone. The quality is also not the best, and the fabric feels cheap. The sleeves on the top are also super tight; similar problem to the Asymmetric Short-Sleeve Plaid Cropped Blouse / A-Line Skirt I bought as part of my Summer Haul.
Dute – Asymmetric Sleeveless Midi A-Line Dress – ★★★★☆ – Love the punky design of this black dress! It’s a midi-length, although since I’m short, it’s almost maxi length on me. The fabric is the type that wrinkles super easily, so I knocked off one star for that. I also had to trim a bunch of loose threads. I haven’t worn this dress yet, but I’m debating whether to wear it by itself or layered over a sheer shirt first. Either way, this dress will look cool!
NENE – Long-Sleeve Paneled Mini A-Line Plaid Dress – ★★★★☆ – The design of this dress is so elegant and cute! The plaid has some glitter in it, which I didn’t notice from the stock photos. It’s true to size, and this dress is almost perfect. The only thing I didn’t like about it were the straps with buttons around the wrists because they constantly fall off. My wrists are really small, so I have the same issue with bangles, but I thought these straps would be fine since they have buttons – but they don’t go tight enough, plus there’s only one belt loop for them on each wrist. It would be more effective to have at least 2 belt loops on each wrist so the straps don’t fall off.

Aigan – Rabbit Embroidered Cardigan – ★★★★★ – Wow, this cardigan is so cute and cozy!! I love the design and colors, and the fabric is super soft. It comes in white, black, and pink colorways, so I chose the pink one but all 3 colorways are really cute. Definitely check out this cardigan sweater! Perfect for fairy kei or any kawaii look.
chuu – Super Skinny -5kg Jeans vol.14 – ★★★★☆ – Thick and high-quality jeans in a very light blue color. They were tight on me, but I probably should have sized up. I got the Sky Blue color is size 27 but I think 28 would have been better. Jeans are hard for me to shop for since even in the USA, I wear a wide variety of sizes (I’ve worn everything from 25 to 29, and also 4 petite, 6 petite, size Small, etc.). I struggled to get into these, but I’ve worn them a few times and they’re comfy when you get used to them. I do wish they were more stretchy! If you get these jeans, size up.

Overall, this was a great haul! The only item I was truly disappointed in was the Eropia set. I’ll probably avoid the Eropia brand in the future on YesStyle… (Hopefully I’ll remember!) Are there any brands you’re trying to avoid?

Lychee the Label: First Haul

Have you guys heard of Lychee the Label? This brand was launched in 2019 and features Asian streetwear. Many of their styles are inspired by K-Pop! I really love the punky and edgy clothes that they have.

Another plus is their adorable logo…! I love lychees! Read on to see my review of my first haul from them.

Everything was shipped quickly, and the packaging was on point. Each clothing item was tagged and packaged in a zippered bag. I appreciated that the chains came separately, each in its own ziploc style baggie. That way, there were no damages during shipping.

The first item is the Anise Chain Detail Bustier Crop Top! This is a super edgy yet cute top in a sexy bustier style. I really love the square neckline and the puffed sleeves! I rate this item ★★★★★!

The second item I got was the Tiramisu Chain Detail Skirt. This skirt is super punk and is complete with a slit on the side, grommets, zippers, buckles, and a detachable chain! This works really well for punk and goth looks as well as edgy K-Pop inspired looks. It’s really comfortable and high-quality too! I rate this item ★★★★★!

The last item I got was the Latte Adjustable Side Slit Plaid Skirt. This is very similar to a skirt I got from YesStyle: the Cutout-Side Pleated A-Line Skort that I reviewed here. However, this Lychee the Label one is superior quality. The fabric is thick and high quality, and the buckle is easy to use and feels very sturdy. It’s also accurately listed as a skirt/over-skirt, so no misunderstandings about what the product is. If you want to style it with other items, Lychee the Label has plenty of options you can style it with. I decided to style all three together for a fun look! I rate this item ★★★★★!

It’s a punky yet feminine look. I love it! Just wore it in quarantine, so haven’t worn it outside at all, but I’d love to wear this someday in the future to a convention, a photoshoot, or a concert. (Maybe for a future KCON…?!)

I give all the items a ★★★★★ rating! Everything is impeccable quality, and I highly recommend this brand to street fashion and alternative fashion lovers. The size chart is accurate as well; for reference, all items I got were size Medium and I chose this size by comparing my measurements to their size chart.
